Berossus, Babyloniaca F17:
God created and placed the stars. Afterward the most knowledgeable men gave them their proper names and signs and established the laws of their movements. … These names and placings of the stars in constellations even Berossus in his Creation admits have nothing to do with the actual creation of the universe by Jupiter (= Bel).
