YOS 11 25-26:
She is fierce, she is wicked, she is [ … ], she slinks about, she is un[canny]. Though no physician, she bandages, though no midwife, she wipes off the babe. She reckons the month(s) of pregnant women, she likes to block the dilation of women in labor. She dogs the livestock’s footsteps, she spies out the country with plundering fierceness. She seizes the young man in the roadway, the young woman in play, the little one from the wet nurse’s arms. When the Two Gods saw her, they made her go out through the window, they made her slip out the (door) socket, they tied her up to a t[amarisk], [ … ] in the midst of the sea.
