Sumerian Balaĝ Gudnim (E)kura 89-91:
(Ninurta:) Hostile land, when will your clay return to its ground?
Hostile land, when will your reeds return to the canebrake?
Hostile land, when will your beams return to their forests?

Anzu Epic (SBV) 2.72-81:
Lord Ninurta had surrounded Anzu, Ninurta has enveloped with the dust of battle. He readied the bow, mounted the shaft, he readied the bow, shot the shaft towards him. It did not approach Anzu but returned. Anzu cried against it: “Shaft which has come, go back to your thicket, frame of the bow to your forests, bowstring to the sheep’s sinews, feathers to the birds: go back!”

Avesta, Khorda Avesta, Yašt 10.20-21:
Backward flies the arrow that the anti-Mithra shoots on account of the many bad formulas the anti-Mithra performs. … Even the one he shoots well, even if it reaches the body, even that does not harm him on account of … The wind carries the arrow that the anti-Mithra shoots.
