Sogdian δpyr “scribe”;
Sogdian ˀrγwˀn “purple”, from Akkadian argamannu;
Sogdian dwlyy “Aquarius”.
The Sogdian word for “degree (of a circle)”, suš, can be derived from Greek sossos, and ultimately from Akk. šuššu - “sixty, a unit of sixty”.
